Trashy Women
"Trashy Women" is a song recorded by country music singer Jerry Jeff Walker in 1989 and later by the band Confederate Railroad. It was a #63 single on the U.S. Country charts in 1989 for Walker,[2] and a #10 country hit four years later from Confederate Railroad's self-titled debut album.
Content
The song's narrator describes that he likes his women "just a little on the trashy side," and shares various stories and explanations of why he does. Originally written as "a tad on the trashy side" (as recorded by Jerry Jeff Walker and the song writer Chris Wall). When Confederate Railroad record producer asked to change words, informed Chris that it would be "a deal breaker without the change," and that edit was made.
Music video
The music video was directed by Martin Kahan. It featured American country artist Jeannie Seely.
